The Model 450 TWISTEP will fit many SUV's, but not all. The critical issue is clearance under the bumper. The Model 450 TWISTEP requires 21" of clearance under the vehicle a distance 2 1/4" straight down from the inside bottom of the face of the hitch receiver. Please see illustrations and Measuring Instructions below - it's pretty straightforward, but hard to describe.
On many vehicles this clearance is more than adequate. In fact, many people find that having a smaller distance between the hitch receiver and the platform is a benefit. We will be happy to shorten the TWISTEP to optimize the fit for a $25 rework charge. Careful measurement will assume satisfaction.
